Their solutions and products are at the very forefront, providing both dentist and patient with efficient treatment procedures, excellent function and high aesthetic outcome. With more than three decades of clinical experience and over a million patients treated, crowns and bridges supported by Nobel biocare ™ implants are highly successful. Nobel Guide™ Technology

The Nobel Guide™ concept opens up a wide range of opportunities and comfort level for patients that need to place dental implants in a very safe, predictable, minimally-invasive placement using a Surgical Template.

With the Nobel Guide™ technology a custom fabricated precision drill guide (Surgical Template) and a pre-manufactured prosthesis, based on CT images and virtual planning, can be made before surgery. The major decisions of the treatment are made during the planning phases of treatment. The execution of the implant placement that follows is performed with minimal surgical intervention. The result is that the patient leaves the chair with teeth in place after a short and non-traumatic surgery with a minimum of post-operative reactions.

Compared to the conventional approach, the Nobel Guide™ treatment is easy, predictable and fast with none of the usual consequences following the conventional placement of dental implants, i.e. with the Nobel Guide™ technology we can avoid unnecessary swelling, pain, haematoma formation, suture placement, etc.

 

Teeth-in-an-hour™ Treatment Concept

TEETH-IN-AN-HOUR™ is a revolutionary concept allowing us to offer patients exactly what they want: A fast, gentle treatment resulting in beautiful teeth now. It is true; we can provide patients with fully functioning teeth on dental implants in one single procedure that lasts about an hour.This technology was recently developed by Nobel biocare ™ , and allows for collaboration between both the dentist and dental technician.This merging of knowledge and experience achieves not only increased safety, but also a more precise implant placement. In addition, the fabrication of a final prosthesis is completed prior to the surgery. The computer-guided implant surgery is done in an arthroscopic fashion without requiring any flap reflection. This benefits the patient being that there is less post operative discomfort, less swelling and less bruising. Often, patients can resume their normal activities the next day. Immediate Function Technology

Historically implants have been associated with a time consuming surgical procedure. This is no longer the case with Nobel biocare ™ implants. In most situations they can be inserted and used immediately, based on a refined treatment protocol and a unique implant surface, i.e. immediate satisfaction . Procera ® Software

Procera® is the world's only commercial system for industrial production of individualized crowns, bridges and abutments. With this technology our dental team can design and prescribe the optimal abutment and coping for the all-ceramic crown and bridge-work. The all-ceramic Procera® crown has many advantages over traditional crowns. Besides its high esthetic qualities, the function and longevity of the crown is excellent as well.

To help our patients become better informed about dental treatments we use a multi media patient education program called OrisEDUCO ® Professional. This system allows a patient to watch on a computer monitor any dental subject they choose. Planmeca ® Proline EC X-ray unit

The Planmeca Proline EC X-ray unit uses panoramic and cephlometric techniques to produce X-ray images for the diagnosis of dentomaxillofacial anatomy. Panoramic radiographs give a view of the whole jaw. It is a good screening tool. Furthermore essential for diagnosis of several situations, e.g. implant evaluations, wisdom teeth problems, screening for pathology like abnormal growths or cysts in the jaw bone, etc.

 

Trophy ® Irix 70 Intra-oral X-ray unit

TROPHY is the world's leader in dental X-ray equipment and allows production of high quality intra-oral X-rays. Inta-oral radiographs that can be taken include:

 

	Bitewing radiographs which are used to help diagnose cavities between the teeth, as these areas that are not visible when looking directly in the mouth.
	Periapical radiographs which reveal the entire tooth, including the root and surrounding bone. These radiographs are useful in diagnosing bone height, abscesses, impacted teeth or bone loss due to periodontal disease.

 

ZOOM™ In-office Vital Teeth Bleaching Systems

Zoom!™ is a revolutionary, in-office tooth whitening system that is safe, effective, and very fast! In just over an hour your teeth will be dramatically whiter. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter. Zoom!™ Tooth Whitening is ideal for anyone looking for immediate results. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. The Zoom!™ clinician then applies the proprietary Zoom!™ Tooth Whitening Gel, which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter , sometimes more! A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure.

Zoom!™ is the culmination of extensive research into light technology, chemical reaction to lighten tooth shade and years of traditional tooth whitening experience. A-dec Cascade Dental Units

A-dec is one of the largest dental equipment manufacturers in the world. A-dec Cascade Dental Chairs are designed to offer a balance of both comfort and access to patients so as to provide patients with the finest of dental health care. The chair upholstery features layers of different foam densities – one for lumbar support, and one for contoured comfort. Coupled with a streamlined seat cushion, the chair reportedly reduces patient pressure points while providing exceptional support. A gliding double-articulating headrest automatically adjusts with the patient when the chair is raised or lowered. Additionally, a convenient lever on the headrest allows for quick one-handed adjustments. The chair's multi-position armrests rotate out of the way, or can be removed for easy patient entrance and exit.

Designed to offer balanced comfort regardless of patient size. The chair provides easy access for patients, is comfortable for patients of different heights, and plush upholstery are very comfortable. The chair has an adjustable, double-articulated headrest.

Simple design makes A-dec assistant's instrumentation easy to reach and simple to maintain.

The ceiling - mount lights provide a neutral daylight color temperature for consistent color matching and a convenient "composite" setting that allows for more time while working with composites. A-dec's ceiling light mount has three intensities and a third axis to help reduce operator fatigue.

ShadeScan

ShadeScan™ is a shade matching system based on artificial vision technology, which can analyze the visual appearance of teeth.

This system is the first of its kind to provide digital shade mapping of the entire tooth surface while allowing the user to select from several referenced shade guides. A major benefit, which also eliminates any extrapolation related to incomplete shade matching.

Based on Artificial Vision technology, the computerless ShadeScan system measures, maps, and communicates shades, translucency, characterization, value, chroma, and hue on the entire surface of a tooth. It also permits visual guidelines for tooth-whitening procedures.

 

X-smart Dual Mechanical Endodontic Instrumentation

The latest innovation from DENTSPLY Maillefer is the X-Smart Dual, a new unit that combines an endodontic motor and apex locator.

File progression down the canal is clearly shown on the LCD screen and is accompanied by an audio signal when the apex locator function is on.  

The device has 9 simple programmes, auto-reverse, a re-chargeable battery and the motor is operated from a switch on the handpiece, therefore there is no foot peddle which reduces the amount of wires present.

 

EasyCure Plasma Arc Curing Light System.

The Perfect Smile Clinic has one more dental novelty - a Lokki “EasyCure” Plasma Arc Curing Light System. This is a device for high speed curing of dental composites and light cured resins. This plasma system is a high technological xenon lamp that can provide a wide spectrum of constant homogeneous light. Research studies have shown that plasma light cures composite 10 times more rapidly than conventional curing systems. This results in shorter visits for patients and thereby increasing patient comfort.

This curing system is especially useful in the placing of orthodontic appliances, where the chair time for patients is significantly reduced. Thus it allows us to save your time without loosing quality.
